About Us
The distinctive vision of Gold Bird began in 2003 on my first visit to Ghana, Africa. I was immediately taken by the beauty of the coastline, and mesmerized by the stunning sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. The lure of this spectacular waterfront setting was irresistible. With untouched beaches that divided the water’s edge from a forest of towering palm trees, it was a synergy of paradise, romance, and relaxation. – Reginald
I was struck by the beauty of this place and thought it would be an ideal location to celebrate life’s most sacred moments; weddings, birthdays, and other special, treasured events, as well as a prime tourist attraction in Ghana. I wanted to create an atmosphere where everyone who entered the venue would be welcomed and treated like royalty, regardless of their status in society. I wanted to raise the bar of service, hospitality, and design in Ghana’s beach hospitality. I wanted Gold Bird to be a top location for customers looking for the best Instagram photos.
It has taken years of hard work and dedication-years of planning, organizing, and traveling to some of the world’s prime tourist destinations (Milan, London, Miami, Lisbon) to observe their technique, amenities, and methods of service delivery- but the vision behind Gold Bird has now been realized. The driving forces that have challenged my creativity, focus, and determination to succeed in the delivery of the beautiful product were inspired by 04/13/2003.
The anticipation and joy I have already viewing patrons joy in the progress of our event venue and our beachfront lounge/ restaurant brings joy and satisfaction that our hard work and resilience has paid off. We strive to give every client the celebrity status as soon as they enter our venue
